The Lowe’s overall rating (based on value for the
money, quality of amenities and utilities, site suitability
and what we think other RV’ers in our situation would
be looking for) = 7 out of 10 stars

These are the “lakefront sites”. Although a ways from the water they were very nice

Lake Mead RV Village
We never closed our windshield shades at this stop!

Noise level and overall “feel” of the park?
Our site facing Lake Mead (#5) gave us a wonderful view of the
lake and sunrises.  This is a fairly crowded and busy park, with
everyone enjoying local activities and partying in their sites.
Although not a quiet place, it’s about 10 miles from Boulder
City and 30 miles from Las Vegas with hiking/biking
opportunities right out of the park.

Road and site access/type?
Paved interior roads and concrete pads at the sites.

Sites spacious and/or level?  Comments?
Our site was long enough for the coach with a gravel area next
to it for tow vehicles.  Spacing between sites was adequate.
Sites appeared to be level.  Access into them was easy, both
back-in and pull-in sites.

Utilities and WiFi/cell reception?
The full hookup 50-amp sites had strong power and good
water pressure.  The Verizon signal to our boosted hotspot
and phones was good as well.  Cable was included, and it had
most of the popular channels.

Picnic table and/or fire pit?
Both, and firewood was sold at the office.

Bathrooms/showers/laundry room?
The bathrooms were clean and modern, but small.  There
were two shower stalls in the building I checked, and they
existed in a common area which didn’t offer much
privacy – I didn’t like that.  The laundry room was small
with several machines, it could have used a cleaning.

Pet friendly?
Although folks could walk their dogs on-leash for miles by
taking them out of the park on the adjacent trail, there wasn’t
much offered within the park itself.

Bicycle/walking trails nearby?
Oh yeah, big points here!  The miles-long concrete trail was
accessible right at the front of the park, and from there we
connected to the Railroad Trail and went all the way to
Hoover Dam – over 14 miles round-trip.  Although it was a
long walk, it would be perfect for a bike ride.

Groceries & other services nearby?
The Albertson’s grocery store and other services in Boulder
City were about 7 miles away.  Nothing here in the way of large
RV repair businesses, though.

Comments:
This is one of those parks you come to when you’ve been out
in the “boonies” for a while and want to be spoiled by a nice
view and good utilities.  The on-site river rafting company is
convenient, and Hoover Dam is only minutes away.  If you’re
so inclined, downtown Vegas is only a 45-minute drive.  A nice
place to spend a few days soaking up the sun and taking local
excursions.
