The Lowe’s overall rating = 6 out of 10 stars

Noise level and overall “feel” of the park?
Noise level – high, unfortunately.  I-80 runs right past the park
and the traffic noise is constant, of course.  It’s a higher-end
park, and it certainly charges higher-end rates.  But there isn’t
much else around that attracted us.  Office staff was friendly
and led us to our site.

Road and site access/type?
The road to the office was paved, then gravel to and including
the sites.

Spaciousness/levelness of sites?
Site spacing was fairly tight.  Our site (#D21) was long enough
to accommodate the RV and car with no problem.  We were
also level enough to forego the jacks, but many sites looked
like they were not so level.

Utilities and WiFi/cell reception?
The full hookup site included strong 50-amp power and good
water pressure.  Our Verizon signal to the phones and hotspot
worked well.  Cable TV was offered, but we didn’t try it.

Picnic table and/or fire pit?
Both, and they were good quality.  It was just to blasted hot
for us to have a fire during our stay.

Bathrooms/showers/laundry room?
We did not have an opportunity to check out the bathrooms,
but the laundry room consisted of 5 washers, eight dryers and
a table to fold on.

Pet and/or kid friendly?
There was a small fenced area for the dogs, and a playground
for the kids.  Also the pool and “bounce bag” were popular
with the little ones.

Bike/walking trails nearby?
None right at or near the park.

Grocery stores and other services nearby?
There was a nice HyVee grocery store, Walmart Supercenter
and Sam’s club about 10 minutes away.  Other services and
many restaurants could be found all over the area.

Comments:
The constant freeway noise made this park unworthy of its
$47/day cost.  It was a decent park, but nothing special.  We
couldn’t find anything else nearby that we liked, so we
shelled out the money for a 3-night stay.  For $35-$40 per
night it would have been a better value and gotten a higher
rating from us.
