Best Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga

The Lowe’s overall rating = 8 out of 10 stars

May 2014

This park is well situated to handle large RV’s, with most sites being long pull-throughs. interior roads and the sites were gravel and mostly level. The full hookups included strong 50-amp power and good water pressure. Each site included a nice table and fire pit. Sites were spaced fairly close together, but ours wasn’t as bad as described by the previous reviewer and in fact it had a small patio. The free park WiFi worked well, and the Verizon signal to our phones and MiFi unit was strong. The bathrooms were modern and cleaned daily, and the separate shower rooms were also well setup and clean. The laundry room consisted of 8 washers and 8 dryers, plus a nice folding table. The downside was that we found this park to be busy and somewhat noisy, with many big rigs coming in for single-night stays and starting up early the next morning. There was also some noise from jets departing from Chattanooga airport. The park was within 20 minutes of the Lookout Mountain attractions and downtown Chattanooga with its Riverwalk, which we enjoyed very much during our stay. There were also many stores and other services within a 10-minute drive from the park. We would definitely stay here again. The daily rate quoted was based on the park’s weekly rate.
